Treatment Process
- Retractors are placed to expose teeth
- Vitamin E oil offered for gum protection
- Chapstick offered for dry lips
- Whitening gel will be placed
- LED activator light hovers over mouth during the process (20 min sessions only)
- Fluoride placed on teeth after to help with sensitivity
After-Care Instructions
Things to AVOID for 48 hours
- anything that stains your teeth...
- red wine
- coffee
- ketchup
- soy sauce
- tea
- dark mouthwash
- dark berries
- etc.
If sensitive or have "zingers"
- drink warm liquids
- take over counter pain medication
- use sensodyne or any fluoridated toothpaste and place on painful tooth with finger and leave the toothpaste on over night, then brush as normal in the morning
- sensitivity is completely normal during this process and will typically subside within a few hours
